NAPAS and South Korea's GLN International activated a bilateral QR payment corridor on April 23, connecting five Korean fintech applications to Vietnam's VIETQRGlobal merchant network. BIDV and KEB Hana Bank serve as clearing banks for the new corridor.
South Korean tourists can scan VIETQRGlobal codes at acceptance points nationwide using Toss, Hana OneQ, Hana Money, Hana Card, or PurpleGLN.
The corridor builds on a cooperation agreement signed at the Vietnam-South Korea Economic Forum in August 2025.
