WeChat Pay Connects to Five National QR Payment Networks Across Asia
Tencent activated cross-border QR code scanning from WeChat Pay to five Asian national payment networks on April 22. Chinese tourists can scan DuitNow, PromptPay, SGQR+, LANKAQR, and ZeroPay codes at local merchants in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and South Korea.
