What changed: Revised unstructured address phase-out to 15 November 2026; added hybrid address format; maximum transaction amount raised to EUR 999,999,999.99. On 9 September 2026 the EPC Payment Scheme Management Board decided to maintain support for unstructured addresses beyond 15 November 2026; the PSMB will reconvene in October 2026 to set a new end date, and revised rulebooks are expected to be published by October 2026 at the latest.
