What changed: Introduced hybrid address format; revised unstructured address phase-out deadline to 15 November 2026 aligned with SWIFT MX release date. On 9 September 2026 the EPC Payment Scheme Management Board decided to maintain support for unstructured addresses beyond 15 November 2026; the PSMB will reconvene in October 2026 to set a new end date, and revised rulebooks are expected to be published by October 2026 at the latest.
