FOMO Pay announced on June 3, 2026, that it will launch DuitNow QR acceptance in Singapore. Malaysian visitors will pay using their existing banking apps in MYR. Singapore merchants receive settlement in SGD.
The rollout targets retail, dining, and lifestyle sectors. FOMO Pay is positioning the service ahead of the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link, scheduled to open in January 2027.
DuitNow QR acceptance in Singapore extends an expanding network of ASEAN cross-border QR payment linkages connecting Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore.
