Indian visitors to the United Arab Emirates and Singapore can now pay for online bookings at two major tourist attractions with their UPI apps, the Ministry of Finance said on 30 October 2026. NPCI International Payments Limited enabled the facility at At the Top, Burj Khalifa in Dubai in partnership with NEOPAY and Emaar Entertainment. The ministry said the Dubai attraction is the first in the UAE to implement UPI for e-commerce transactions.

In Singapore, NPCI International Payments Limited worked with the payment institution FOMO Pay to extend UPI acceptance to Resorts World Sentosa, covering online bookings at Universal Studios Singapore, the Singapore Oceanarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark.

UPI is accepted in ten countries: Singapore, the UAE, France, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Greece.
