Same Day ACH Exceeds 400 Million Q1 Payments, Topping $1 Trillion for Second Consecutive Quarter
Nacha reports 403 million Same Day ACH payments in Q1 2026, up over 23% year-over-year. Total ACH Network value reached $24.1 trillion across 8.9 billion payments. B2B volumes grew 9.4% to nearly 2.1 billion transactions.
Same Day ACH volume reached 403 million payments in the first quarter of 2026, a 23.6% increase over the same period in 2025. The value of those payments totaled $1.1 trillion, up 22.1%, marking the second consecutive quarter above the $1 trillion threshold.
Total ACH Network volume rose 4.8% to 8.9 billion payments in Q1 2026. Network value climbed 9.3% to $24.1 trillion. Business-to-business payments accounted for nearly 2.1 billion transactions, growing 9.4% year-over-year.
