The item-count field comes from HKMA's 2024 PFMI disclosure. Autodebit and Autocredit services migrated to FPS and were decommissioned on 9 June 2025, so the current daily item count may be lower. The per-day value is a ClearingPost conversion of HKMA's monthly ECG HKD turnover series (reported in HKD million), divided by Hong Kong weekdays excluding public holidays. The PFMI disclosure's lower average daily value comes from a different series and should not be compared directly with this figure. ECG also clears smaller USD and RMB turnover, which the HKD value field excludes.
