KFTC facilitated the Indonesia-South Korea cross-border QRIS payment linkage launched April 1, 2026 via its switching/electronic payment infrastructure (not the Giro batch clearing system), in partnership with Bank Indonesia and ASPI. NPCI International and KFTC signed MoU for UPI-Korean payment system integration (April 2026), a separate initiative enabling future interoperability between India's UPI and South Korea's retail payment infrastructure; 64 Giro clearing members.
