The European Payments Council said on 28 August that its Payment Scheme Management Board will determine the EPC position on the unstructured address end-date at its meeting on 9 September 2026. Until further notice, the EPC said, its timelines remain unchanged with 15 November 2026 standing as the end-date.
The Eurosystem is exploring the option of proceeding with the November 2026 TARGET Services releases as planned with only the discontinuation of unstructured postal addresses postponed.
