The State Bank of Pakistan on May 15 launched its largest Go Cashless campaign ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, deploying 22 banks to 96 cattle markets nationwide. Coverage expanded 78% from 54 markets in 2025. Temporary transaction limit relaxations apply from May 14 through June 5.

Banks set up dedicated camps, kiosks, mobile banking vans, and ATMs inside the markets. Merchants and cattle traders can accept payments through mobile banking apps, branchless banking wallets, and Raast QR codes.

The National Bank of Pakistan received SBP approval on May 11 to commercially launch Raast person-to-merchant acquiring services. NBP followed on May 13 by deploying a Raast QR-based licensing fee collection system for the National Highways and Motorway Police.
