What changed: The Banco Central do Brasil's manual of maximum times for Pix payment transactions. Its revision history records under version 7.0 a new section 1.4 on the maximum time for sending transactions settled outside the SPI to the Banco Central (entry dated 23 November 2025) and, in an entry dated 2 February 2026, changes to the return-request indicators, including renaming the indicator for concluding a return request to cover a well-founded suspicion of fraud.
