ECB TARGET Services statistics published in mid-July show TIPS processed a daily average of 5,183,793 euro-denominated transactions in June 2026. The June figure represents a 40 percent jump from the May daily average of 3,703,831.
EUR daily settlement values also reached a new record of €6.5 billion in June, up from €4.6 billion in May. The sustained increase reflects growing use of central bank money settlement for instant payments across the eurozone following the EU Instant Payments Regulation.
