BCB Resolution 587 Tightens Pix Fraud Marking and Sets 2027 Rule Changes

The Banco Central do Brasil set out the Pix regulation amendments in Resolution BCB 587.

Pix participants must record suspected-fraud markings in the DICT against the user's CPF or CNPJ.

Hybrid billing, which combines a boleto and a Pix QR code in one document, takes effect in February 2027.

Pix Automático will be permitted in salary accounts from July 1, 2027.
