The National Bank of Georgia went live with its modernized Automated Transfer System on June 3. Montran built the upgraded RTGS platform to support ISO 20022 messaging and continuous 24/7 processing.
The previous platform had operated since 2009. The partnership between NBG and Montran on Georgia's settlement infrastructure spans more than 25 years.
Montran is now building an instant payment system with a proxy addressing service for Georgia, targeted for go-live by the end of 2026.
