TARGET Instant Payment Settlement processed 10.83 million daily transactions across EUR, SEK, and DKK in April 2026. April is the first month the Eurosystem's multi-currency instant platform exceeded ten million daily transactions.
Danish krone volumes surged 52 percent from March to 3.20 million daily, twelve months after Danmarks Nationalbank connected DKK to TIPS. Euro-denominated instant settlement recorded 4.54 million daily, a 4.3 percent dip from March's peak of 4.74 million.
TIPS R2026.JUN, scheduled for production go-live on June 8, introduces ISO Maintenance Release alignment updates for all three settlement currencies.
