BankservAfrica rebranded to PayInc SA in August 2025. SARB acquired 50% stake in PayInc (Oct 2025). PayInc is the largest ACH operator in Africa, processing ~3.7B transactions worth ~R18T annually across all services (EFT, RTC, DebiCheck). EFT payments are processed in batch files with sub-services: same-day value (SDV), one-day, and two-day settlement. Cleared EFT payments are final and irrevocable. PayInc also operates RTC (Real-Time Clearing). EFT credit average transaction value: ~R13,000 (Jul 2024). All-time monthly transaction record across all services: 176.3M (May 2025).
