RTGS transaction fee: KM 2.05 per transaction (effective November 1, 2024). CBBH publishes only annual and monthly RTGS totals (Annual Report 2025, Table T21); the 2025 daily averages on this record are derived from the annual totals assuming approximately 251 settlement days. RTGS carries a small share of transaction count but most of the value in the CBBH payment systems, with the remainder flowing through giro clearing. During 2025 the CBBH began migrating the RTGS from MT to MX (ISO 20022) messages. TIPS Clone instant payment settlement went live July 20, 2026 with CBBH among the first two connected central banks; a second onboarding window for Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia is scheduled for November 2026.
