EPN and FedACH together form the dual-operator ACH processing infrastructure in the US. EPN is interoperable with FedACH — an ACH entry submitted to either operator reaches any US financial institution. Same-Day ACH available through EPN since 2016. In 2024, EPN processed 20.7 billion transactions worth $56.4 trillion (6.2% volume growth YoY). Since 2021, EPN volume growth has averaged 7.4% annually, outpacing the broader ACH network.
