Kronos2 was decommissioned when Danish krone settlement moved to the Eurosystem's T2 and TIPS services on 22 April 2025 under the TARGET DKK project, the first activation of T2's multi-currency function. This record now carries T2 DKK statistics from the ECB TARGET Services Annual Report, which are not directly comparable with the Kronos2-era series. DKK payments represented around 1.8% of T2 volumes in 2025, and Denmark was the first non-euro area country to integrate its currency across all three TARGET Services.
