N26 Activates Wero P2P Payments in Germany and France

The Berlin-based digital bank becomes the latest EPI member to activate the pan-European wallet, broadening Wero's reach to a mobile-first customer base across two core European markets.

N26 launched Wero for eligible customers in Germany and France on August 11. The integration enables instant peer-to-peer payments using a phone number or email address rather than an IBAN.

Transfers settle in under 10 seconds via SEPA Instant infrastructure. N26 signed its EPI membership agreement in December 2025.
