German drugstore chain dm activated Wero as a payment option in its online shop on August 25, 2026. Payment service provider Nexi executed the integration, making dm the fourth major German retailer to integrate Wero in online commerce.

Wero now reaches approximately 58 million registered users across Europe, according to EPI. The drugstore chain follows Lidl and Decathlon, which activated Wero in their German online shops in July 2026.

dm CFO Martin Dallmeier said the company had set early on a development that can shape digital commerce in Europe for years to come.
