Eurosystem Shifts November 2026 TARGET Services Deployment to 28 November
A two-week postponement pushes the T2, T2S, TIPS and ECMS release weekend to the end of November 2026 while leaving the planned functional scope of the releases unchanged.

The ECB has since revised the R2026.NOV main milestones document. The capture read on 15 October 2026 prints production go-live on 27 November 2026, start of deployment to production on 23 November 2026, and Market Infrastructure Board approval on 11 November 2026, replacing the 28 November go-live and the earlier TBC deployment start reported here.
The ECB attributed the shift to SWIFT's decision to delay its Standards Release 2026, which the industry requested to gain more time to prepare for the removal of unstructured postal addresses. Participants connecting to T2, T2S, TIPS and ECMS through application-to-application communication based on ISO 20022 messages should plan for user testing to start on 9 October 2026.
The Eurosystem will introduce a temporary measure in T2 allowing fully unstructured postal addresses to continue to be used in T2 RTGS messages for a limited period.
