Raast processed 742.1 million transactions worth Rs23.3 trillion (USD 77.9 billion) in the first quarter of 2026, according to State Bank of Pakistan data published on June 26. Person-to-person transfers made up 664 million of those transactions, valued at Rs18.9 trillion. Person-to-merchant payments rose 54% quarter-on-quarter to 55.9 million.
Digital channels accounted for 92% of Pakistan's 3.7 billion retail payment transactions between January and March 2026.
At its current trajectory, Raast is projected to process over USD 500 billion in transactions during 2026, exceeding Pakistan's estimated GDP of USD 452 billion for the fiscal year.
