PIX processed 7.37 billion transactions worth R$3.42 trillion in April 2026. This marks the second consecutive month above seven billion transactions, following March's record of 7.44 billion. The daily transaction rate reached approximately 246 million, surpassing March's 240 million per day.
The average PIX transaction value was R$464 in April. TED processed 67.8 million transfers worth R$4.09 trillion in the same period, retaining the total value lead despite handling less than 1 percent of PIX's transaction count. Boleto registered 326.9 million operations worth R$552.1 billion.
The January-to-April 2026 total reached 27.7 billion PIX transactions worth R$12.6 trillion. At this pace, the system would process approximately 83 billion transactions for the full year, a 4 percent increase from the 79.8 billion recorded in 2025.
