The number of Pix keys registered in Banco Central do Brasil's transactional account directory reached 1.008 billion in September 2026. The August total was 998 million keys. Banco Central do Brasil open data records 186,974,734 users registered in the Diretório de Identificadores de Contas Transacionais as at 30 September 2026.
Individuals accounted for 168,245,596 of those registered users. Businesses accounted for 18,729,138.
