UPI processed 218.98 billion transactions worth Rs 285 lakh crore in FY26, with March 2026 setting a monthly record at 22.64 billion transactions worth Rs 29.53 lakh crore. UPI is expanding internationally through bilateral linkages with payment systems in Singapore, UAE, France, Sri Lanka, Japan, South Korea, and other countries.
